Zoomerang Basic allows users to create and store surveys with up to 30 questions each. Up to 100 survey responses per survey can be viewed online for 10 days after the survey is launched free of charge.  

Process

  • Create an Account
  • Create, Edit, Preview the Survey
  • Deploy the Survey
  • Analyze Results
Creating a Survey
  • Click New Survey at the top of the My Surveys Window
  • Choose to create from scratch, use a template or create from an existing survey
  • Enter a survey filename

The Survey Filename is only visible to the survey creator and can be used to indicate versions of a survey, drafts or copies. The Survey Filename appears in the list on the My Surveys page. It can be edited by selecting the Edit Survey Filename link from the Survey Management page.

The Survey Title is visible to survey takers. It can be created and updated by selecting the Edit Title button when editing survey content. The Survey Title is referenced on the Survey Results page.

Follow the Survey Wizard to create your survey.

 Types of Questions

  • Click Support on the Main Screen
  • Select the FAQ on creating the survey which includes types of questions and adding pages

Saving the Survey

  • Click the Save button on the upper right-hand corner of any survey page to save your work and remain in the survey design mode
  • Click Save for Later to save your work but and go you to the 'My Surveys' page.  This button should be used when you are finished working on the survey for that session
  • The Submit button can be used to deploy your survey
Adding Images
  • 400 pixels across works well
  • If there is no text for an image, add &nbsp in the space for the question otherwise the image will not show up

Deploying the Survey

  • You can either click the Submit button in the editing mode or click Launch Survey Results in the My Surveys window
  • Edit the web greeting
  • Customize the thank you page
  • Choose a deployment method
  • Email a list of recipients in your address book
  • Generate a URL
  • Set Options (i.e. survey can be taken multiple times on one machine)
  • Launch the survey and SAVE THE URL
Check and Analyze  Results
  • Select View Results from the My Surveys screen
  • Choose between viewing individual (included responses) results and a result overview
Managing Surveys
All your Surveys can be managed from the My Surveys screen.  This includes the following capabilities:
  • Preview
  • Modify
  • Launch
  • Copy the Survey
  • Print the Survey
  • Close the Survey (if it has been launched)
  • Delete the Survey

Use the Address Book

  • Click Address Book on the My Surveys screen
  • Enter addresses and address lists to use for survey deployment
