What operating system am I running?If you have a rainbow apple on the upper left corner of the screen, you are running System 9. If you have a blue apple on the upper left hand corner of the screen, you are running OS X or above. Click and drag from the blue apple to About this Mac. A window will appear telling you what specific version of the OS you are running. As of October 2005, most district PCs are running Windows XP.
