Connecting to the Faculty Web Server Via System X

On the menu bar, choose Go/Connect to Server

In the Connect to Server box, select AppleTalk on the left and edcenter on the right.

Select Web Server and click Connect

Select Registered User.
Type in your user name. Use the password given in the workshop. Note the options button which will allow you to change passwords later on.
Click Connect

In the next window, select www and click OK.

A server icon will appear on your desktop, indicating that you are connected. It will be called www. Double click it and locate the faculty folder inside. Open the faculty folder to find your web folder. For security purposes, don't forget to disconnect by dragging the www icon to the trash when you are done. As you do so, the trash icon will become an eject button..
