The Office Clipboard

Version X,10/02

Most programs use a place in the computer's memory called the clipboard to store copied or cut items. When a new item is moved to the clipboard, the previous one is lost. The Office clipboard allows users to store up to 60 items (16 MB) to be pasted as desired. To see it, go to the View menu and select Office Clipboard. As long as the Office Clipboard is open, any time you cut or copy items they are automatically stored in this area. The Office clipboard can be used to paste information to and from any Office application (Word, Power Point, Excel).

To copy an item to the Office Clipboard, select it and go to the Edit menu and select copy.
